The key share index at Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) registered loss on Monday, the second trading day of the week.
The DSE benchmark index, DSEX shed 15.70 points or 0.38 percent to reach 4021.08 at close of trading. Of the 289 issues traded, 144 gained, 125 declined and 25 remained unchanged. Shares worth Tk 521.33 crore changed hands on the day.
The day’s top 10 losers at the DSE were ICB MCL Mutual Fund, Keya Cosmetics. 7th ICB Mutual Fund, Modern Dying, Imam Button, Kay & Que, Meghna Cement, NCCBL Mutual Fund, Monno Ceramics, and ICB Sonali Mutual Fund.
The CSE key index, CSCX lost 24.29 points to reach 7852.49 at the close today. Of the 230 issues traded, 98 gained, 119 declined and 13 remained unchanged. The value of the traded issues was Tk 44.52 crore.
Earlier, in the morning, the DSEX gained 5.61 points or 0.13 percent to reach 4042.40 at 11:20 am. The CSCX gained 20.42 points to stand at 7897.20 also at 11:20 am today.
