Chittagong: A special tribunal here on Monday fixed January 30 for delivering the verdict in the sensational 10-truck arms haul case.
Chittagong Metropolitan Special Tribunal Judge SM Mojibur Rahman fixed the date on completion of arguments by the prosecution and the defense.
On April 1, 2004, 10 trucks arms were seized from two vessels at the Chittagong Urea Fertilizer Ltd jetty.
Two cases were filed with Karnaphuli police station on the following day under the Special Power Act and Arms Act.
Jamaat chief and war crimes accused Matiur Rahman Nizami, former State Minister for home Lutfozzaman Babar, two senior officials of the National Security Intelligence (NSI) were among the accused in the case.
