14-party to send team to Gaza

DHAKA: Health Minister Mohammad Nasim said the 14-party decided to send a delegation to Gaza to express its shock over the death of “innocent civilians” there.The minister, also the spokesperson of the 14-party alliance, made the statement while talking to journalists after a meeting at the party’s Dhanmondi office on Friday.He said: “The Awami League 14-party alliance decided to send a delegation to Gaza in order to expressing our deep shock over the death of innocent civilians, especially the children in the Israel border area.”The foreign and law ministries were requested to take necessary step in this regard, he said adding that no civilised state can conduct the killing mission like in Gaza.The minister also wanted the global community take immediate step to stop the mass killing.Some 238 Palestinians, mostly civilians, were killed in Israeli air and sea offensive on July 8.
