Key share price index at the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) suffered loss on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.
The DSE benchmark index, DGEN lost 17.95 points or 0.40 percent to reach 4374.19 points at close today. Of the 292 issues traded on the day 143 gained, 116 declined and 33 remained unchanged.
Shares worth Tk 263.69 crore changed hands at the DSE on Sunday.
The day’s top 10 losers at the DSE were Square Pharma, First Bangladesh Fixed Income Fund, Reliance Insurance, Midas Finance, Rupali Life Insurance, Popular Life Insurance, MBL 1st Mutual Fund, Meghna Life Insurance, BD Thai, and Wata Chemicals.
The CSE key index, CSCX lost 35.30 points to close at 8291.68 points today. Of the 194 issues traded, 88 gained, 85 declined and 21 remained unchanged.
Shares worth Tk 22.14 crore were traded at the CSE on Sunday.
