DSE, CSE down

Key share price index at the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) suffered loss on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.
The DSE benchmark index, DGEN lost 35.91 points or 0.81 percent to reach 4388.68 points at close today. Of the 297 issues traded, 90 gained, 160 declined and 47 remained unchanged.
Shares worth Tk 318.86 crore changed hands at the DSE on Wednesday.
The day’s top 10 losers at the DSE were Beximco, Navana CNG, First Bangladesh Fixed Income Fund, Midas Finance, Islami Insurance, SPCL, Global Harvest Agro, BD Thai, Popular Life Insurance, and Saiham Tex.
The CSE key index, CSCX lost 67.74 points to stand at 8321.07 points at close today. Of the 204 issues traded, 49 gained, 116 declined and 37 remained unchanged.
Shares worth Tk 34.78 crore were traded at the CSE on Wednesday.
