Key share price index in the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) ended in red at close on Monday, the second trading day of the week.
The DSE benchmark index, DSEX lost 53.46 points or 1.18 percent to reach 4466.08 at the close of trading on Monday. Of the 289 issues traded, 67 gained, 188 declined and 34 remained unchanged.
Shares worth Tk 298.96 crore changed hands at the DSE on the day.
The day’s top 10 losers at the DSE were BD Finance, Sylhet Craft, Reckitt Benckiser, BIFC, United Insurance, Argon Denim, Aramit Cement, Jamuna Bank, Rahim Textile, and Aziz Pipes.
The CSE key index, CSCX shed 103.64 points to reach 8698.89 at the close today. Of the 211 issues traded, 35 advanced, 160 suffered loss and 16 remained unchanged. The value of the traded issues was Tk 24.70 crore on Monday.
