President Abdul Hamid returned home on Monday morning from London after wrapping up a seven-day visit there for eye treatment.
A regular flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the president landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 8:30am.
On his arrival at the airport, the president was received by Finance Minister AMA Muhith, Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu, Foreign Affairs Minister AH Mahmood Ali, dean of the diplomatic corps, British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Robert Gibson and chiefs of the three services and high civil and military officials.
During the trip, Abdul Hamid exchanged pleasantries with the passengers.
The president went to London on August 17.
