Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu on Monday left Dhaka for China on a weeklong visit at the invitation from State Development and Investment Cooperation (SDIC) of the Chinese government.
During the visit, the minister will discuss the quick implementation of Shahjalal Fertiliser Factory by China International Complete Plant Import and Export Corporation Limited, an associate organization of SDIC.
Amu will also hold separate talks with Chinese ministers including Industries and Commerce. In the meetings the minister will highlight various aspects of bi-lateral trade cooperation, said an official release.
The minister is likely to return home on September 29.
