Thakurgaon: Members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) allegedly picked up two Bangladeshi young men from Dabri border point in Haripur upazila on Sunday night.
The victims were identified as Enamul Haque, 25, son of Nurul Islam, and Hasan Ali, 18, son of Ismaeil Ali, both residents of Kathaldangi village of the same upazila.
Quoting locals, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) sources said a patrol team of BSF-121 from Phulbari camp in India caught the duo near pillar no 367 of the border point around 8:00pm.
Confirming the incident, Major Touhid Bin Ishaq, acting commander of BGB Battalion-30, said they had sent a letter to BSF for holding a flag meeting to bring back the two Bangladeshis.
