BNP’s threat won’t work: Amu
Staff Reporter Challenging the BNP’s anti-government movement threat, Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu on Wednesday said no date will work for BNP to launch the movement. “People have turned their away their faces from any destructive movement pattern,” he said while addressing a discussion in the city yesterday. The senior Awami League leader said movement cannot be such destructive as to roasting people alive in arson acts, killing people by uprooting rail tracks and keeping people in complete darkness by setting fire to power plant. Industries Ministry arranged the discussion at the Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) auditorium. Additional Industries Secretary M Farhad Uddin and BCIC Director M Abul Kashem also spoke at the meeting, chaired by Industries Secretary M Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan the chair.
