One-third CSR fund must be spent for edn

Bangladesh Bank governor Dr Atiur Rahman on Wednesday said the financial institutions must spend one-third of their CSR funds for educational purposes.

"Corporate social responsibility (CSR) fund must be spent for education purposes, including providing scholarship to students from disadvantaged families living in remote areas like chars and haors," he said.
