Woman killed by elephant in Rangamati

Rangamati: A woman was killed in an attack by a wild elephant at Dongnala of Rangamati's Kaptai upazila on Sunday morning.
The deceased was identified as Unu Marma, 45, wife of Mong Thoai Marma of Raikhali Dongnala Marma Para of the upazila.
Quoting locals, Ashhraf Uddin, officer-in-charge of Chandraghona Police Station, said a wild elephant attacked the woman when she went to the Dongnala for cutting wood around 7am, leaving her seriously injured.
